Shift Your Paradigm

by John Maksym

/

about

I wrote “Shift Your Paradigm” immediately after watching Bob Proctor’s “Paradigm Shift” personal growth seminar, and wanted to sink the lessons deep into my subconscious mind. What better way than to sing-along to them over and over again?!

Musically I wanted a feel good summer song and imagined blending the Caribbean sound of “Under the Sea” from Disney’s the Little Mermaid, with Train’s pop rock hit “Hey Soul Sista”

The song sounds awesome and I can’t wait to share it with Bob’s followers!

Shift Your Paradigm is simply capturing that moment when you realize you’re not happy with your results and that it’s up to you to change them.

“Get emotionally attached to a new idea. Let your imagination run wild ‘til you can really feel it.” The THOUGHT causes the FEELING. The FEELING causes the ACTION. The ACTION produces the RESULT. If you want to change your results, you need to start by changing your thinking, and by doing this you will Shift Your Paradigm.

LYRICS

Do you feel like you’re not doing
What you think you should be doing with your life?
You can barely hold a picture
Of what you really want on the screen of your mind

You can close the gap from where you are and where you wanna be
But you gotta shift your

(Paradigm)
You gotta shift your (paradigm)
You gotta shift your (paradigm)
You gotta shift your (paradigm)
Shift your paradigm

Do you feel like you’re not getting
To the places that you try to visualize?
You can barely keep your focus
Without seeing your results before your eyes

You’ll develop faith when you believe in who you wanna be
But you gotta shift your

(Paradigm)
You gotta shift your (paradigm)
You gotta shift your (paradigm)
You gotta shift your (paradigm)
Shift your paradigm

Get emotionally attached to a new idea
Let your imagination run wild ‘til you can really feel it
You can feel it

Do you feel like you’re not doing
What you think you should be doing with your life?
You can barely hold a picture
Of what you want…

(Paradigm)
You gotta shift your (paradigm)
You gotta shift your (paradigm)
You gotta shift your (paradigm)
Shift your paradigm

(Paradigm)
You gotta shift your
(Paradigm)
Shift your paradigm

about

John Maksym Kitchener, Ontario

Kitchener, Ontario-native John Maksym spent his childhood jumping on furniture, singing along to every Springsteen hit. He would don a red cape and pretend to be on the big stage, entertaining the masses. Fast forward and that kid has become a well-respected recording artist, songwriter, and performer—trading in his red cape for a fresh jacket, and hitting those big stages to entertain the masses. ... more
